Say "farmhouse wedding" in Jaipur and most people picture a dusty plot with a tent. Samskara Resort Jaipur isn't that. It's seven acres of amla orchard, a lawn big enough to lose a baraat in, an indoor hall for when the sky turns grey, and rooms priced anywhere from a few thousand rupees to a private pool villa. Fifty relatives on a tight budget? Fine. A couple wanting one showpiece to stay for the photos? Also fine. Nobody can say what the whole wedding will cost without dates and a guest count, but plenty can be said about what the place offers, what the rooms start at, and which questions are worth asking before paying a token amount.
Village Peepla Bharatsingh, in Jaisinghpura Jaipur. About 15 km from the airport, under half an hour from the city if the roads behave. Farmland on every side, so no honking, no shop signs, no neighbours peering over a wall.
Some guests love that. Others, less so. A few reviews on travel sites call the place remote, grumble about weak wifi in the rooms, and warn against driving the rural stretch at night. Fair points. If elderly relatives or late arrivals are coming, sort out transport early and don't leave it for the last week.

Wedding Spaces and Capacity
Samskara works as a destination wedding venue because it has more than one place to hold a function. The resort's own pages list these.

One catch. The resort's pages don't agree with each other. Bodhi Banquet shows as 300 on some and 400 on others. The lawn shows 200 on one page and 800 on another. Probably down to seated versus standing numbers, or which part of the lawn is counted. Ask the wedding team to put the exact figure for the planned layout in writing.
Over two acres of grass. That's room for pheras at sunset, a full reception, and a loud sangeet, all without guests bumping into each other. For an outdoor wedding lawn, that size also lets decorators build something proper, a stage, a long walkway, seating blocks with actual space between them.
The resort also lists a Hotel Lawn in its buyout details, next to the Banquet Lawn and Bodhi Banquet. No public page says how many people it holds. Worth asking whether it's meant for a welcome dinner, a mehndi, or overflow seating.
Rain in Rajasthan wedding season isn't common, but it happens. So does dust, and so does fierce afternoon heat. An indoor banquet hall is the insurance policy.
Bodhi has a high ceiling, a built in sound system and sits right beside the lawn, so guests can drift in and out. Plenty of couples keep the lawn for the ceremony and music, then move everyone inside for the seated dinner. Listings describe it as suitable for receptions, seated dinners, and weather safe functions.
Wedding guest accommodation is where a lot of venues fall short. Here the resort lists about 50 rooms across seven styles, with starting rates mentioned on its own pages.
|
Room Type |
Details From Resort Pages |
|
Kothi Heritage Rooms |
13 rooms, Rajasthani motifs, courtyard access, from about 3,499 rupees |
|
Luxury Rooms |
Panoramic views, suited to 2 to 3 people |
|
Cottage Villa |
Tree facing rooms, some with bathtubs, plus a few cottages with private plunge pools |
|
Villa Anoushka |
3 bedroom presidential villa, private pool and lawn, from about 32,999 rupees |
Kothi Heritage Rooms make sense for extended families on a budget. Luxury Rooms and Cottage Villa units suit close relatives who want more space. Villa Anoushka is the headline room, usually for the couple or immediate family, with butler service and a private lawn that handles functions up to 200 guests.
These are starting rates. The season and number of rooms booked will move them.
For smaller weddings, the resort offers a two night buyout on a room only basis. All rooms, every event venue for the staying guests, including the Banquet Lawn, Bodhi Banquet, and Hotel Lawn. Meals are arranged separately.
It works best when the guest count is close to the room count. Everyone sleeps on site, nobody else wanders through, and the whole estate feels private for the weekend. A guest list far bigger than 50 rooms can hold means someone's booking a hotel elsewhere, and that gets messy.
Wedding catering services run through the resort's own kitchens. The on-site restaurant, Karma Cafe, cooks with produce from an organic farm, so the food leans fresh and simple.
Are outside caterers allowed for Jaipur weddings? Public pages don't say. The resort's sister property in Pushkar welcomes them, but that doesn't mean the same applies here. Ask directly and get the answer into the contract. Menus, live counters, and the split between vegetarian and non vegetarian dishes should all appear in the written quote.

No full wedding package price is published. The resort's team says it replies to enquiries within 8 working hours with availability, venue fit, and stay options. Share dates, guest count, and room needs first. Those three drive almost everything else.
Couples after space, greenery, and privacy, with enough rooms to keep the whole wedding party on site, will like it. Mid sized weddings spread over a few days fit best. A huge city style event, or a family that wants everything ten minutes from the market, probably should look elsewhere.
Big lawn. Indoor hall. Rooms from about 3,499 rupees up to a private pool villa. An orchard that photographs well even on a dull day. Costs depend on dates, guest count, rooms, and decor, and the resort only gives firm numbers on enquiry. Go and see it once, ideally around sunset, and ask for every capacity and inclusion in writing before paying a rupee.
